A documentary on the work of grizzly bear lover Timothy Treadwell. Treadwell spent 13 summers living among the bears in his effort to protect them. Along the way, the lines between human and bear became blurred and Treadwell comes to see himself as one of the bears. In October of 2003, Treadwell and his girlfriend were killed by one of the bears, and the documentary interviews friends of Treadwell and also shows some of the amazing footage Treadwell captured.
