This movie was mildly entertaining, and it’s not necessary to have seen the original Deep Throat (it’s not one I have in my personal collection). It was interesting to learn how a movie that cost $25,000 to make could gross $600 million, and it would seem that part of the reason that the movie made so much was simply because of the fight taking place in our government over censorship. The movie interviewed the director, Gerard Damiano, and the main actor, Harry Reems, about how the movie affected them at the time, and also how it continues to affect them today. A “must see” for any serious porn fan ;-).
