This classic, known for it’s famous quote, “Every time a bell rings, an angel gets its wings!”, is a good way to start off the holidays. It’s the story of George Bailey, and the bank he runs in the small town of Bedford. Times get tough, and George finds his bank is missing $8000. He appeals to the wealthy and greedy Mr. Potter to help him save the bank, but when this fails, he considers committing suicide. It’s at this point when an angel intercepts his plans and shows George what the world would be without him, preventing George from ending his life.
