Meredith is an uptight, impersonal girlfriend when she goes home to meet her boyfriend’s family, the Stones, at Christmas. Their holiday is filled with drama and problems as the family does not like Meredith, and fears that Everett plans on marrying her. While this movie was a cute holiday film, it lost it’s believability when Everett falls for Meredith’s sister, and Everett’s brother falls for Meredith.
