Someone recommended I see this movie, and I’m glad I finally got around to renting it. Woody Allen and Diane Keaton are pretty funny in this quirky movie about love and relationships. The movie starts out with Allen playing heart broken Alvy Singer. While most of the movie is self-contained, Alvy will sometimes address the camera and he begins the film by telling the camera that he and Annie have broken up, but he’s not exactly sure why their relationship failed. The rest of the movie unfolds as Alvy looks back on his relationship with Annie and tries to figure out why they broke up.
