While I haven’t seen the musical, I did enjoy this movie very much. The music is good, and even though I didn’t like every song, I enjoyed the majority of them. This film documents the lives of several friends living the East Village in Lower Manhattan. The characters deal with life, love, and other issues facing the world today such as AIDS, drugs, crime, and sexuality.
