This was a decent sports movie that reminded me of “Remember the Titans“. Set in 1965, Don Haskins, a struggling basketball coach, is asked to recruit and coach for Texas Western, more commonly known as UTEP today. He breaks the race barrier by recruiting 7 blacks and only 5 whites for his team. Despite the ridicule and racism directed at the team, they make it to the NCAA finals, where they face Kentucky.
