Madeline L’Engle
This was one of my favorite books growing up and I decided to re-read it. It’s short, but a great read. The story centers around Meg Murry, a teenager, struggling to fit in at school and confused about her father’s recent disappearance. Meg, her younger brother Charles Wallace, and their friend, Calvin, embark on a journey across the galaxy to distant planets to find the Murrys’ father.

I recently discovered Madeline L’Engle and I wish I had read her when growing up. I really liked “Many Waters”. I should read Wrinkle too. Have you read Charles De Lint? He has a similar style. I highly recommend his Newford series starting with “Memory and Dream”.
