Marian Keyes
I started this book with the thought of getting in some light-reading-British-chick-lit, but found myself completely absorbed into the lives of Anna Walsh and her sisters. This book is Keyes’ funniest, by far, and also the most moving. It deals with love and death in a way that makes you laugh, but also reminds you that it’s a serious subject. I found myself near tears at time and laughing out loud at others. The Anna/Helen-email-subplot was a bit boring at times, but the emails between the sisters and between Anna and her mother were some of the funniest parts of this book.
