Across the Universe

Great movie, musical, and love story that incorporates The Beatles music.  Jude, a shipbuilder from Liverpool, travels to the United States in search of his father.  There, he meets Lucy and the two fall in love.  Their world is shaken by Lucy’s brother being drafted to fight in Vietnam and they become anti-war activists.

    Hey Jess,
    You should check out “Once” which is also a brilliant romantic musical. Lovely music and very realistic acting by the two leads.
