Maeve Binchy
I’ve read one other Maeve Binchy book, and was hoping for something similar. This book was slightly different, in that it was comprised of several short stories, with the small town of Rossmore and St. Ann’s Well tying all of the stories and characters together. There are a total of thirteen stories and each story has two tales, giving the reader both sides of the story. I found some story lines more interesting than others, but overall I started to enjoy the book once I let go of the expectation that this was one complete novel, like her other book.
