The Darjeeling Limited

The Darjeeling Limited

I have to say that I think this has become my favorite Wes Anderson film.  I have always been a fan, but something about this film drew me in more than The Royal Tenenbaums or The Life Aquatic with Steve Zissou.  I enjoyed the quirkiness of Anderson’s writing more in this film, and I liked the fact that it was set in India.  I also really liked Jason Schwartzman‘s acting more than I ever have.  In this film, three brothers set off on a trip across India.  Their goal is to visit spiritual sites and become close to each other.  A series of events throws their plan off course and they are kicked off the Darjeeling in the middle of India.
