When my friend Becca recommended this book to me, she told me it was a “Young Adult book about vampires”, but that I had to give it a shot. I’m so glad I did. I got completely sucked into the novel, and it’s part of a series, so I have more to look forward to. The book is about a high school-aged girl who moves to Forks, Washington. At her new school, she becomes fascinated with a handsome, but eerie high school senior. She soon learns that he is a vampire and that she has fallen in love with him. That brief summary doesn’t do this book any justice… just give it a shot if you have some time. It took me less than four days to get through.
