I only took two pictures this week because we mostly ate salads again! Fortunately, we had a family dinner on Sunday evening and we happily volunteered to bring a large salad. We managed to get through a whole head of lettuce and lots of spinach. I tried a new recipe this week: Creamed Swiss Chard. It’s not the healthiest recipe we’ve made (lots of cream [obviously] and butter), but it sure tasted great! We ate it over pasta. This week we were treated with fresh cauliflower. It was delicious, and we simply roasted it in the oven with olive oil, salt, and pepper. We also got kohlrabi this week and, not really knowing what to do with it, decided we would use our old stand-by of cubing it and roasting it in the oven. It turned out great and tasted a lot like broccoli. Other veggies we got in week 3: kale, turnips, snap peas, beets, and lots of different herbs.
