This is the latest book in the Twilight series. Like the previous two books, it was easy to slip into this book. But, unlike the other two, I felt disappointed in the turn this book took. Bella continues her romance with Edward, while finishing her senior year at high school. She also struggles with her decision to leave her human life to become immortal by becoming a vampire. I guess some more plot lines were needed because Meyer creates a love triangle between Bella, Edward, and Jacob, Bella’s best friend. Jacob seems completely wrong and incompatible with Bella, yet Meyer continues to push their relationship throughout the entire book, and it seemed very forced. Still, I’m looking forward to the fourth book in this series, due out in August.
