Rachel recommended this TV show to us, so we rented it from Netflix. It’s a very funny, dark comedy about a stay-at-home mother whose husband dies suddenly of a heart attack. She is left with no money, so to make ends meet, she starts to sell pot. The supporting cast really makes this show.

While this season might not have been as funny as the first season, it was still very enjoyable.  Andy Millman and his inept agent, Darren Lamb do an excellent job of getting into awkward situations and having to put their foot in their mouths.

This is a television show, not a movie. We rented it because we enjoy The Office and think Ricky Gervais and Stephen Merchant write some excellent stuff together. In the show, Andy, played by Gervais, is a struggling “actor”. His agent, played by Merchant, can’t get him any work besides small roles as an extra in movies. Andy and his coworker Maggie (also very funny) get into humorous situations while they wait to stand in as extras in different films.
